One electronically tested 18KT white gold ladies custom cast & assembled tanzanite and diamond necklace with a bright polish finish. The pendant features a tanzanite set within a multi-tiered diamond lattice gallery, supported by a seventeen inch length necklace composed of a flexible ribbon of graduating diamonds, terminating in an elaborate diamond set concealed clasp. Identified with markings of 18K. Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One Hundred Eleven prong set princess cut diamonds, measuring 4.40 x 2.30 x 1.73mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 111 Stones = 19.22ct. Measurements are an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Clarity VS-2 to I-1. Color G - I. One Hundred Seven prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.70 - 2.60 x 1.59mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 107 Stones = 7.38ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity I-1 to I-2. Color G - I. Nine prong set baguette cut diamonds, measuring from 2.10 x 2.00 x 1.40mm (depth est.) to 3.80 x 2.00 x 1.40mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 9 Stones = 0.71ct. The color grade of the diamonds in this group ranges from faint to very light yellow. Graded in the setting. Clarity VS-1 to SI-1. Color J - L. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color.
